These bag filters are really cool! They're identical in size to our standard 7" x 16" bag filters, but they come in absolute micron ratings. That means that the tolerances on the micron sizes are MUCH tighter than a nominally rated bag filter. Everything about these are beefier too. The material is thicker, they feel stronger, and they're even tougher to fold! They still come with our heavy duty metal ring in the top as well! That means you'll get superior filteration at all the different micron ratings we offers these in.

 

7x16 absolute micron filter layers
The absolute micron rating is accomplished by using several layers of tightly woven material all compressed together to give you an incredible filter that can filter with extreme precision to the micron rating you choose.

 

Also, absolute micron filters are rated with not only a micron rating but an efficiency rating.
